Microwave Egg less Cake In Just 5 min
Hi !!!
I know you must be surprised. All of a sudden why am I doing this blog post on Cake.
Well actually today's my husband's b'day and like any other b'day I usually bake cake for him in conv.mode of microwave. But this time I made the cake in microwave without conv.and in just 5 min. Maybe many of you might be knowing this creative idea of baking, but for those who are not aware of this technique or who do have a MV without conv., this might help.
The interesting thing about this cake is that to make this I didn't have to use the conv.mode in the microwave.Instead I just chose the high power level and set it for 5 min.flat. Initially I was worried about the taste, but then it did come out beautifully and very tasty and delicious. My birthday boy also liked it so I am very happy.Didn't decorate it becoz he likes it simple.
You can also try out this delicious recipe and surprise your family on this weekend.
I would also like to thank Kavita of CZs who shared the recipe with us.
Do send your FB.
Thanks for visiting !!!!
Have a nice weekend !!!

Key Holder
Hi !!!!
Have been quite busy this past week with my kids exam. I spend half of my time running after him to make him study which he religiously avoids. Its very tiring but at the same time very entertaining also. I will miss this phase once he is older. I will miss our debate of what good it will do to study and vice-versa. Well life is like this. There will always be some work or other, but still you have to take some time out to do what you would love to do the most. Keeping these lines in mind I did managed to complete my key holder on which i have done clay work.
I had got the basic cut out of this key holder. Have covered the base with ceramic clay. The thatched roof has also been created with the same clay. I have tried to portray an Indian village through this key holder. The man, woman, birds, pots and the bushes has been created through lamasa clay.Looking at the finished piece I feel I have been able to project my theme to quite a extent.
Today is Valentine's Day and I would like to wish everybody the same. Hope love surrounds you all and your loved ones throughout the year.On this occasion I would like to share few lines which I have dedicated to my family and friends who have been there with me thru thick and thin.
Luv is beautiful,luv is nice,
It 's something that happens to everybody in life.
It is sunny, it's bright,
That turns darkness into light.
Its ecstatic,passionate and wild,
That grows into you and fills you with pride.
Its all about caring and sharing,
And thinking of new ways of making,
The other person happy,
No matter what the situation may be.
Thanks for visiting my blog !!!
Enjoy your day !!!

Rock Painting
Recently I saw this kind of painting in Indusladies.com. So I thought I would do some of my own and share with you. I had some stones at my home, which I thought i will put in my terracotta pots for decorative purpose.Luckily, had some leftovers from that lot, on which i have attempted this art.
This is first stone painting I did and which you can see didn't come out very well. On this I painted a peacock which got a little smudged.
This is another stone painting which I tried, and this time the results are much better than the previous one. I have simply painted some flowers and leaves on it with various colors.
I find this style very unique whereby you can decorate stones and use them as decorative items in your home or use it as paperweight maybe or just simply fill up a bowl with this decorative stones and keep it on you center top. It it also a very inexpensive art as you only need stones( the one with smoother sides), a paintbrush and acrylic colors and you are ready to go.
You also try this thing out and send me some pics if possible.
Thanks for visiting my blog and have a nice day !!!!

Ceramic Work
Trying to keep up with my new year resolution to do blog posts on clay work also, I have made this name plate. The base is a wooden ply on which I have written the name and decorated it with some flowers and leaves. For this I have used ceramic dough which can be made by mixing ceramic powder with carpenter's glue. I also add a little bit of glycerin to avoid cracks in the dough. Lastly, have used acrylic colors to paint them.
Thanks for visiting !!!!!
