M-seal face mask
Lately i hv been concentrating on M-seal art. Next in the series are these woman /man wall masks.
Method
1. I already had an old broken mask which i used to get the base for my mask. Tightly wrap a polythene around the old mask and cover it with m-seal clay.
2. Let it dry for a while. After that take it out frm the polythene. Now you have got the basic structure of face mask.
3. Then i made a long snake of m-seal & attached it from the top of the mask till the center. Then i painted the base & nose.
4. I also painted eyes, lips, mustache, hair accordingly using fevicryl acrylic colors.
5. For the stand on which the masks are hanging, hv used a simple ply, got it cut according to the design u see in the picture. This is entirely optional.
6. Hv decorated the ply with flowers & leaves made of leftover ceramic dough. This again depends on ur choice. U can also use m-seal for the same.
7. Lastly hv colored them with acrylic colors.
I hope this will give u some innovative ideas that u can try out with m-seal.
Thanks for hopping on my blog !!!!!!!!

This is a Lamasa tree with a duck , 3 birds & a teddy bear. Hope you like it. Thanks for visiting my blog.
M-seal pen stand
This is a pen stand which has been made of M-seal ( white). You can find it in any hardware shop or any craft store. One can also opt for Shilpkar from fevicryl. Its very easy to use. You just have to mix the white and the green portion and can mold it accordingly. You should use little bit of talcum powder to make it less sticky on hands. I personally find m-seal very convenient to use as one can do the molding and sticking simultaneously.
METHOD
1. To make this i have used an empty container as a base and covered it tightly with a polythene. This way m-seal doesn't stick to ur bottle and u can take it out easily.
2 After that take small portion of m-seal and mix the white & green part completely.
3. Make long snakes and cover the container with it. Start from the center bottom of the container.
4. Once it dries off, your stand is ready. Take it out from the container.
5. Now paint it with acrylic colors of ur choice. You can also add cartoons/flowers etc to give it more volume.
Note : Always take out required amount of m-seal before u start working on it because m-seal dries off really fast. So u will end up wasting more rather than molding.
Hope you like this tutorial.

Lamasa Tissue stand
Hi!! The inspiration of this tissue stand comes from my baudi's place whom i was visiting last weekend. The actual tissue stand was a ceramic one and i liked the design so cute that i decided to replicate it with lamasa clay. So here it is. The size i believe has come out to be a bit smaller but otherwise it is looking really cute with fruits hung on the kettle. The other side of the stand ( not visible) is similar. Can be used when u r having kid's party. Hope u people out there viewing my blog like it tooooooooooooooooooo. Thanks for visiting my blog. G.night.
LAMASA WIND CHIME
Lately i hv been concentrating on ceramic work & candles too much. But now i am thinking of trying out something new with lamasa clay. Hence the wind chime. It is a bit tedious process but the end result i believe is going to be good. To make this mobile first of all we need to make the clay & fr that we need to do the following
MATERIAL
Mix cornflour + fevicol SH+little amount of glycerine & zinc oxide + lime juice.(Glycerine will give softness to the dough & zinc oxide makes it termite resistant).
After mix the above things properly. Cook it on the gas stove for a while till the mixture starts to thicken.
Keep this clay in an airtight container for an hour or so & let it rest.
Mix oil colors & you are ready to give new shapes/ forms to the clay.
(Note - Try to keep it in an air tight container as this clay dries off if kept in open for too long)
METHOD
To make this wind chime first of all i hv made
Beads of different colors which i hv put it thru 8 no. knitting needle so that i hv a hole wide enough, to pass the thread thru. This we hv to do when the clay is still soft.
Similarly as u can see below i hv made few bells & huts also. You can make whatever u find easier.Depends entirely on ur creativity.
Since it is for my kids room i want to make it more jazzy for which i am thinking of adding few animal charac ters. I will add further details in my next blog post. Till then be happy & hv a nice weekend !!!

LAMASA WIND CHIME
MOBILE TUTORIAL (PART - II)
Hi folks !!!!! Sorry fr having taken so much of time to come back with the remaining portion of the mobile tutorial. Honestly with kids summer vacation going on it does become a little bit tedious to complete this project. Anyways as i told u in my previous posting that u will hv to make lots of beads, bells any other things u would like to add. It depends entirely on ur choice. For mine i hv added elephant, tortoise, hut and bells. Air dry them for a day or two. Remember to make holes in them while molding so that u can pass them thru thread.Apply varnish on these pieces, Let it dry. Then adjust these beads, bells, characters in whichever order u would like and attach them with glue gun as shown in the photograph. Mine has five threads and its only in the centre thread that i hv attached all the characters. Mind u this is going to take some time
Congratulations !!!!!!!!!! Ur mobile is ready to be hanged !!!!!!
