Bread craft Flowers
Hi !!!!
Here is one painting that I did using bread dough. Its was actually a year back when I made this painting but while cleaning his stuff he had kept this somewhere. Yesterday, surprisingly while looking for some craft items I found this and few of my long forgotten glass paintings also. Will share them in my next blog post.
Thanks and Happy Independence Day to all my friends !!!

Doily with cord
A very big HELLO to all you ladies. Hope you are all doing well.
Monsoon has been very kind to us, which is why it revisited Delhi last week and since then the weather has become more and more pleasant. Few days back, I sowed flower seeds in my empty pots and now I can see some cute little baby plants coming out!!!!!!! Thanks to rain ka jadoo.
Well today I am going to share with you a doily pattern which I picked from a book bought from a local craft shop. The designs in this book are awesome, but the method for making the pattern is incomplete. It took me some time to copy the same by looking at the picture only.
In this pattern I have incorporated cord technique, a part of Irish crochet lace. I had to watch youtube videos to understand this.
As you can see in the pics,I have used white and pink cotton yarns, hook size 12 and the approx. size of this doily is 23cms in dia. I have also used sea blue colored beads in this.
Do mail me your feedback on this.
Also tomorrow is Krishna's B'day and I would like to wish all my friends/followers a very Happy Janamasthami !!!!
Will see you again with something interesting so till then be happy and keep others happy.

A touch of Macrame
Hi !!!!
Tomorrow is Raksha Bandhan and Friendship Day is also coming. So to celebrate this occasion I decided to do something new. Last year I had made rakhi using parchment craft. This year I have tried my hands with macrame craft. Thanks to Youtube, learning has become so convenient and full of fun.
Macrame is all about knots. Once you get familiar with the knots you can make anything say, potholder, bags etc.
These are just the samples which I tried to get a hang of it. I have also used beads in one of them to add some color. The purple-yellow bracelet that you can see in the pic. is the one that I am making for my brother for raksha bandhan as he likes them plain. Its still incomplete but I would be able to complete it by tomorrow.
To all my followers and all those who have been kind enough to visit my blog, I would like to wish them a Very Happy Raksha Bandhan !!
Bye !!!!
