Goddess Saraswati ( Fusion Work)

Hello friends !!!

I am back with another painting of mine of Goddess Saraswati ji...

This is a fusion of modern and madhubani art. 

I love to work on black sheet with white pen... So this time my monochrome work portrays Goddess Saraswati Ji ..Hindu  goddess of knowledge, music & art. Festival of "Basant Panchami" is celebrated to honour the goddess.

My new painting...

Hi !!

I am back with my new madhubani painting... This painting is based on Rath Yatra... Not an apt subject with on going X-mas fever all around.... But still this has been on my wish list for long and have been trying to make this...

Have made this painting on full size hand made paper measuring 30" x 22.5" . Have used marker pens and acrylic colours and have tried to make it as colourful as possible .....

Post Diwali 2019

Hello friends !!!

Hope you all had a wonderful Diwali... I know I have been absent from blogging for few months. The reason being I was having few issues with my service provider as a result was not able to view my blog.... Now thankfully the problem is resolved and all the issues seems to be sorted.

All this while when I was far from blogging I was more on FB & Insta....

I have been experimenting with various mediums and art forms...

I made these small paintings on water colour paper using water colour brush pens and marker pens

Will be sharing my more of my drawings in my next blog post... :))

Hopefully this time round I would be more regular on my blog updates.....

Madhubani Painting

Hi !!!

Hope you all are doing good..

This Sunday we celebrated Saraswathi puja. On this auspicious occasion we worship the Goddess of Knowledge & Music and get our books blessed.

Also known as Basant Panchami.... this festival signifies the beginning of Spring Season and that is the why on this day people wear yellow sarees / dresses..

As a small token of worship I made this A3 sized Madhubani Painting of Goddess Saraswati on pastel sheet, using black marker pens and acrylic colours.

Madhubani Painting

Hi !!!

Hope you all are doing well. 

Today I am going to share my madhubani painting with you.

This painting portrays a scene from Ramayana. Sita is pointing towards golden deer and is requesting Ram & Laxman to get it for her. 

The painting is done on handmade paper using acrylic colours.

Gold Mandala
