Return to blogland..

Hi !!!

Its been two months ,but I still can't believe that my brother is no more. He was just 47 yrs. I am in a state of shock. My heart is not able to accept the fact that he is not there anymore. That I wouldn't be able to speak to him anymore. I feel as if I have lost my father for the second time. Because that's what he was for me.

I was very young when I lost my father. At that point of time both my brother & I were studying. But my brother left his college halfway and started working to take care of me & my mother. He supported me to complete my  schooling & higher education. After my mother expired in 2004 he was my emotional anchor. Someone I would look up to when I was in a problem. His untimely demise has saddened me and has broken me emotionally. I know time is a big healer and with gods grace this period will pass.  He was such a kind soul and I hope and pray that may his soul RIP.

Creatively my mind has not been working, but still I have tried to  give this old wine bottle a new look. I have given it a hut look with a door and village belle standing besides the door. All this work has been done with shilpkar (m-seal) and have used acrylic colors to paint it.

  2. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I can understand your pain since I lost my father 3 years back and it's only since last year I have come to terms with it. Your brother was so young and looks like losing your parents is something you have gone through a lot. My prayers are with you and hopefully you will recover from the shock as time goes by.

  4. Mousumi.... A tight hug to you dear.... May peace be with you. May his soul rest in peace.

As you rightly said... time is the only healer

And to comfort you... just try to read shloka 22 to 25 of Chapter 2 of the Bhagwad Geeta. It says ... soul is eternal undestructable and continues to live ...

The makeover of the bottle is really pretty... Do what pleases you and comforts you...

    Take care

  6. Hi Mousumi, it is good to have you back doing what you love. Stay strong and always remember Roy is watching over you and the family. I want to share a poem with you from Winnie the Pooh
If ever there is a tomorrow
    When we are not together
    there's something you must remember:
You're braver than you believe and stronger than you seem,
    and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is- even if we are apart,
I will always be with you..

    Love always..Theresa
